wow.....ok, i've got some catching up to do, and well...here's my little "responce" and lets just say, i'm pissed off right now!

Are you telling me, there are actually people, ON THIS VERY DAMN BOARD, that are wanting to VOLUNTARILY take their lives?! Are you telling me, that life is soooo hard for you, that you just wanna quit. You do realize that life is not like a job, once you quit, there is no coming back! I came 10% away from dieing just a couple of months ago....I can only imagine what my aunt was going through when the doctors said, "I'm sorry, but your niece isn't going to make it, you can now say your goodbyes." Yea, I put my aunt through that.....but not by choice. Are you telling me that you HATE yoru family enough to do that to them VOLUNTARILY. Before you put that gun to yoru head, or those pills down your throat, think about this. There are people out there who do not choose to die, they die out of accidnet in cars, are murdered or die naturally. Are you telling me that you wanna take the deaths of those innocent people and make a MOCKARY out of it by taking your life VOLUNTARILY! Have some respect....don't do it.

Okay, I usually don't get personal on message boards, but I just have to post this. Maybe it will help, but atleast I'm posting this.

My grandfather committed suicide in 1995. I was in 5th grade at the time. I don't know why he did it. Did he feel nobody loved him? Did he hate his life so much that the only way out was to shoot himself?

I can't explain all the feelings that I felt when he did that- it started with anger, then sadness, and finally depression. If the case was that he didn't feel nobody loved him, then he was wrong. I loved him so very much. To this day, my stomach still feels like a cancer growing in it everytime I think of him. I begin to cry when I realize that he could be here now to see my graduation.

Before you have thoughts of picking up that gun and shooting yourself, stop and think of all the people that would be upset about your death. Don't tell yourself the typical "Nobody loves me, and nobody cares about me". IT'S NOT TRUE! Everybody in this world has atleast one person that loves them.

If you are severly depressed then I know what you're going through. I've had my bouts with depression. I've considered suicide also, but I always pictured how my parents would act if they came home and found me dead on the floor with an empty bottle of pills on the floor.

I hope I've struck a nerve here with somebody that considers suicide. God Bless you all.

P.S.- I'm sorry if this came across as a preachy post, but believe me suicide hurts more than just yourself.

Whatever you do. do not take your own life away. Think of what all you will miss! If you are under 16, then you have not learned how to drive, you will never be able to watch The Division. or maybe even meet you favorite actress. Do you really want to be in the newspaper for killing yourself? That is concedered murder in Gods eyes. AND think how much your firends will miss you and if you dont think you have any, then you are wrong. I am your friend and everyone else who took the liberty of talking you out of this. Today I went to a memorial mass for my freinds father who was killed in the WTC tragedy. It wasnt his choice to be killed. He has a lot of people who miss him. Although I never really met or knew him , I payed my respects and went with my mother. His son is one of my friends since kindergarten up until now (6th grade) I was so sad. At the end when they were talking about him, I actually began to cry. It was even worse because they had no casket because they never found him. He was trapped in an elevator comming down... Guys, do you want people who care about u and love you to go through all of this? Despair, greif..I just couldnt bare to watch his mother. Wow. She was sobbing so much she made me cry even more...Sorry I have to stop about this because I fell like im gonna cry again..

Karli and Caitlin, Please think twice about this.

i am going to cry hearing that people would wont to kill them self. bucause i have a friend who was really depressed. and she did not tell me that she was thinking about killing her self. then one day i get a call from her mom and she said that she tryed to kill her self and i got a call from her mom at the hospital saying for me to get down there right away. because the doctors were trying to get her heart to beat again. to any one that might think about killing them self dont put your family and friends through the pain that comes with the thought that they might not get to see you again.
