Default Wipeout Premieres Tonight (June 24 8/7 central)

The promos seem very funny (loads of promos for this) and good for this show. Just a light summer show with laughs. Anyone else watching? See the videos on the bottom.

PREMIERE

FEARLESS CONTESTANTS COMPETE ON THE WILDEST OBSTACLE COURSE EVER SEEN ON TV, IN "WIPEOUT," PREMIERING, TUESDAY, JUNE 24 ON ABC

John Anderson (ESPN's "SportsCenter") and Comedian John Henson ("Talk Soup") Host

"Episode 101" -- Human cannonballs! Human pinballs! Crashes, smashes and mud splashes! "Wipeout" features the world's largest obstacle course, designed to provide the most crashes, face plants and wipeouts ever seen on television.

Viewers will laugh out loud at this hilarious, fun-filled hour. Hosted by John Anderson (ESPN's "SportsCenter"), John Henson ("Talk Soup") and co-hosted by Jill Wagner, "Wipeout" premieres TUESDAY, JUNE 24 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Each week 24 new contestants of all ages, shapes and sizes will go head to head through four rounds of grueling and physically demanding obstacles to battle for the title of "Wipeout Champion" and the grand prize of $50,000. Not only do the contestants change every week, so does the course. In the end, only one contestant will win, while everyone else will Wipeout!

Big Balls! Dizzy Dummy! Sucker Punch! Topple Towers! Killer Surf! are just a few of the wild and wacky obstacles our contestants will attempt to master in the season premiere. Contestants include a a deputy sheriff, a pastor, a go-go dancer, a masseuse, a waitress, a car show model, a senior credit manager and a handyman.

Executive producer is Matt Kunitz ("Fear Factor"). Co-executive producers are Scott Larsen and Shye Sutherland.

What did you think of the final round in the premiere? 10 million people watched Tuesday. It repeats Sunday at 7pm this week, if anyone missed it.

Each week the obstacles will change.

This program reminds me of the old '70s show, "Almost Anything Goes".

The show looks stupid at first but it gets harder as it goes on. I thought it was quite entertaining. Nothing else is on.
