The Neds had a COVER of that piece of 80's dreck?? I had their 'God Fodder' album back about fifteen years ago, and it was great, but I could never see them doing that song!!

Now Charlene was all MILF-a-licious and all that way back when, but damn, that song was sooooooooo sappy and melodramatic, I simply HATED it!!!!

That song was a classic, It has no business being mentioned in the same sentence as "I've Never Been to Me"

If you really want to compare "I've Never Been to Me" with another piece of dreck then I suggest the following:

"Having My Baby" by Paul Anka and Odia Coates. No other piece of dreck written before or since can compare with this lame excuse for a song.

Just kidding, guys. I love Foreigner's I Want To Know What Love Is. Just thought of a bad ballad and I sort of forgotten about "Having My Baby".....frankly, I thought "Having My Baby" is the worst 70s ballad ever. Thanks for the update.

Couldn't agree more. I HATE that song, and the only other 70s ballads that might be worse are Muskrat Love and All By Myself. *shudders*
