Fox Reality Channel is giving reality sidekicks a chance to headline their own nonscripted show.
"Gimme My Reality Show!" revolves around D-list celebs who have appeared on reality shows but never starred in their own. Contestants will battle for star recognition in a variety of challenges.

A panel of reality producers, execs and former reality stars will judge, while viewers will select the ultimate winner -- who will then receive his or her own four-episode show.

Series, produced by Natural 9 Entertainment, premieres Oct. 11 at midnight, following the net's Really Awards.

Initial participants include former "Baywatch" co-star Traci Bingham and "Project Runway" runner-up Santino Rice.

Thank God for DVDs of real TV shows!

Whenever there's nothing but crappy reality shows on (which is just about all the time now), it's great to be able to pop in a 35 year old episode of "The Brady Bunch", a 40 year old episode of "Hogan's Heroes", a 45 year old episode of "The Dick Van Dyke Show", a 50 year old episode of "Leave it to Beaver", or a 55 year old episode of "I Love Lucy".

The millionth rerun of those shows is better than an "all new episode" of any reality show.
