this may sound a little crazy but i used to watch a show with a computer cursor??? that could change into a man or car and i cant remember the name of it.i think it came out around the time knight rider did.can anyone out there please tell me the name of the show

I believe it was Automan. It wasn't a sitcom though. It aired during the 1983-1984 season on ABC.

Yeah, it was more of a dramedy, cuz it did have funny moments...some intentional, some not. lol Great show. Cursor followed Automan around and conjured up cars or whatever Auto needed...or Wally for that matter. Wally was Walter Nebicher (or however it's spelled), Desi's character.
