I loved this years better than last years. Vanessa Williams was wonderful. So Gorgeous, refined and sophisticated. Her voice was so beautiful. I loved hearing her sing "I'm flying". I wish that the awards would go back to opening with the stars or the original recording artists singing the theme songs. There are still some songs out there in TV LAND that can be done. However, I am happy with the stars flying in the air. That was nice.
Opinions, anyone? |

I felt embarrassed for those celebs who were flying.
A musical number would have been better.

I will admit that some celebs did look kinda out of shape flying in the air but it was still good to see them doing their thing. I loved it. Irene and Solomon, what is up with these NAN avatars?
"Take-me-to cra-ppy-laaaand". LOL. |

I had my avatar made by Brandon (see my siggy). Brandon liked my new name for Tvland and he made me this avatar. Solomon loved my avatar and I guess he asked Brandon to make one for N@N.

Let's see, next thing you know, we will see other Nickelodeon affiliated channels change:
Spik- I mean "Crap TV" The Crap (The N) Crappin' (Noggin) Craptoons MTCrap VhCrap CrapET Crapetty Central With that being said, I think that the TV Land awards was good this year but I would love to see them go back to the original singing of theme songs. |

I liked it a lot better than I thought I would. The atmosphere was much more livlier than the last couple of shows. The opening with the flying people was lame, though. I liked the montages of the cast members singing their theme songs.
The Garry Marshall tribute was done in the exact same style as the Aaron Spelling tribute a few years ago. It was really well-done and it was nice to see some of the folks from Garry's shows say nice words about him. I think that award should posthumously go to Quinn Martin next year, or maybe Norman Lear. I'd really like to see Irna Phillips or Agnes Nixon honored, but I'm smart enough to go there lol I agree about the "Roseanne" moment. I loved Lecy Goranson's mention of Glenn Quinn. |

The irony being that Garry was honored and not ONE of his shows are airing on TV Land!
