But what i can , should be enough for someone to know which case i'm talking about. Here goes
Case of a woman who i think was murdered but may have survived, she was shot by a biker who was hired by the womans ex husband/husband who was later arrested, a reporter became interested in the case and went to the prison to talk to him. Reporter was leaving when someone matching the biker who shot the mans wife was next to visit with him. If anyone knows this case was there any update? |

That would be the case of Anita Green. She was killed while outside her ex husband's business whom she worked for. Her ex, Melvin Green, was convicted in the crime and received a prison sentence but I don't believe the actual shooter was ever arrested. Anita's friend Michele Samit wrote a book about the case (she's the one that saw someone matching the shooters description at the jail to visit Melvin). Here's a link about the book:

The sad thing is, the killer could've/should've been caught by now. Michele made a critical mistake, and that is not noting the license plates of the motorbikes parked within sight of her car.
I mean, if it was me, and I thought the visitor looked like the killer, I would've waited in my car after writing down all the license numbers, checked off the one he got into, then went back into the prison, or drove to a police station, and gave them the info. Track the plate, bring the guy in, put him in a lineup for the witness, and BAM...case closed. For a smart woman, she was pretty dumb :P |
