Year 8 is the only one that I've bought (thus far- maybe I'll get season 7 next). Year 8 is better than year 7 overall- year 7 had 11 regulars and if I'm right no episode that year had all players in it. Vanessa had very little presence in year 7, Pam was integrated into things better in year 8- from what I remember of year 7 if she was in an episode with one or two exceptions she was driving the storyline.

None of the eps in year 8 is really a poor ep as such - the one with Pam's babysitter and the grocery store is probably the least interesting, but I wouldn't say it's a bad ep. Year 7 has that Muppet episode (which come to think of it I don't think I've ever seen) and that ep with John Ritter and his wife and almost none of the Cosby regulars save Cliff and of all people Olivia.

Other observations about year 8:

Sondra and Elvin's children are now old enough to have lines, which is a plus.

Kenny is fun this season.

Elvin got fat.

LOL that in the finale Charmaine and Lance attend Theo's graduation.

I noticed that the cover art for all the seasons really lack imagination.

Cliff must have gained about 15 pounds over the summer because he is Skinner at the end of Season 7 then he is the Begining of Season 8 and look at the opening that was Really Season 7 opening.
