So what's going on as far as all the characters (except Holly) we've grown to love? Are they coming back next year? They kind of left us in the dark at the end of the season finale.

Yes. Great action drama! After the director's fire-fight, the new director handed out new assignments to Gibb's support team and gave him a new support team. They kind of left the audience on a cliff - hanging. Maybe they plan on expanding the franchise to include separate stories on each (much like Star Trek). I'll have to wait and see. Watch it every night up here in Toronto, Canada - except Saturday. I watch it on the History channel.
