Whitley vs. Kinu LOL - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I love the interaction between Whitley and Kinu. Especially when Whitley "forgets" Kinu's name and calls her something different.

This is reminiscent of Alderman Davis on Good Times calling Willona every name under the book but her correct name.

Kimo sabe sticks out in my mind.

She did this in the episode where Whitley is hired as a maid by Ron. She also does this in the telethon episode. Kinu got on my nerves.

I keep telling myself that too. Man, Whitley is so beautiful and then here came Kinu.

Kinu is pretty in her own way, but next to Whitley, she is outshined...TOTALLY.

Well Dwayne was in Japan when they met so it was slim pickin's LOL and it was Whitley's fault that Dwayne started to date Kinu.

WOW, you guys! There are no words. If I were Kinu, I would have grabbed Whitley by the legs and dumped her trifling, manipulative self in the garbage dumpster and close the lid and let the garbage man dump her behind into Fred Sanford's junkyard. She was so rude. I was glad that Kinu "accidentally" stepped on her foot when Freddie was taking a pic of the gang. Kinu did look gorgeous in the 1993 episode when She was interviewing Dwyane for a position. She moved on and got married and set Dwayne straight.

Ha! I have to agree...I like Whitley with Dwayne better than anyone else with Dwayne, but in that episode when Kinu first showed up, she was really pretty. As her time on the show went on she got a little whiney and controlling for my taste, but yeah, Whitley was awful to her while she was dating Dwayne, ex-boyfriend or not...
But then Whitley was generally awful...in a loveable sort of way
