I had on HH and wanted to see the closing credits again because I remember watching them as a child and would ask my grandmother why is there a pic of a HAT and nothing else-lol So just wanted to confirm if that's what I remember seeing years ago since I forgot TV LAND doesn't no longer show closing credits for any of it's shows

The closing credits do show that hat as you remember. But you should know by now Crapland doesn't show credits anymore, they squeeze them to the side. You of all people should know that already Sol.

Crapland probably changes which sides of the screen to push them to. I have seen the credits be pushed to the right side and the bottom.

Don't underestimate TV Land, they may start creating their own opening credits |

![]() I will give Crapland props for this...actually airing the ORIGINAL opening credits for I Love Lucy. All the years that I Love Lucy has aired in syndication, Crapland actually decided to air the credits as it was originally done.

Ok, the hat underneath, WHAT IS THAT CALLED? I have always wondered. I am sure I heard the name of it, but don't remember.

RTN also shows HH on Sunday nights and they keep the original closing intact.

Actually, what TV Land airs is its own version of the original opening credits. William Frawley and Vivian Vance never received on air credit in the openings until the syndicated "heart on satin" opening was made. And for obvious reasons,TV Land's logo is plastered on what used to be the Philip Morris sponsor logo. Not to mention there are plenty of openings that can still only be seen on the DVDs. |

I can't speak for HH, because my RTN does not air it, but the copies of Love, American Style are the same syndicated versions put out in the '70s (with the Red Split Box Paramount logo at the end).
