Default The scene in the ep when Willis and Arnold divided the bedroom was also used on

Fresh Prince years later. Willis was on the side of the room with the TV and Arnold was on the side with the remote and Willis wanted to watch TV but Arnold wouldn't give him the remote

Just like when Will and Carlton divided the pool house and Will was on the side with the TV and Carlton was on the side with the remote and Will wanted to watch TV and Carlton wouldn't give him the remote-lol

Recyled scenes

Don't forget Ralph and Potsie did it before them with their apartment on "Happy Days" each wanting something from the other's side.

Full House did it as well, in the first episode I do believe. When DJ split her and Stephanie's room. The same scene where Stephanie tried to use the window curtain to get to the other side, only for DJ to send her back on her way, lol.

And while it wasn't really a bedroom, it was also done on I Love Lucy, when Lucy and Ricky split the living room so that it was the "clean" side (Lucy's side), and the "lived-in" side (Ricky's side). Fred and Ethel of course got involved, and it became more of a men/women split.

I'd say it's up there with that and the ol' stuck in the elevator scene (with bonus points for those who include a pregnant woman ready to give birth )

Gotta remember Sol, the writers basically look at old scripts for ideas. The handcuff bit began with I Love Lucy and took off from there.

Remember in the Jeffersons when George had to hurry and get some pregnant woman to the hospital? How many times have we seen a woman almost giving birth before getting to the hospital? Too many. I can recall that happening on Everybody Loves Raymond and Taxi. CLICHES!!!
