The AC's i see now have buttons and not KNOBS that you turn for the temp of the room, instead you press a button to set the temp.

i think it's a very nice, once you are able to get the sh*T in the window-lol so who has a AC like that?? I"m wondering how long these type of AC been out

My AC has buttons instead of knobs, and I've owned it since 2000 so they've been around for a while.

They've been like that for years. Its nicer than knobs, but the cheaper ones still have knobs.
And I have one, I just put it in today cause it was so damn hot lol. It has a remote too, but I dont use it.

I agree, I love the sound of thunder...and I like some lighting as long as it doesn't get dangerous. There's something comforting about it to me.

when i was little and there was a thunderstorm my sister, her friend and i would play this game where we'd sit in front of the picture window and pretend the lightning was a camera taking our picture and each time there was a new flash of lightning we would change poses. i'm laughing thinking of all the funny poses we'd do

I have not read or heard of anyone describe a window as a picture window! How cute is that? I have only heard of that term being used on Little House on the Prairie.
