Jaime Pressly Sued Over Fashion Line
A fashion designer is suing actress Jaime Pressly over claims she was unfairly axed from her fashion line.
Tami Smith claims the My Name Is Earl star hired her to design pieces for her J'aime fashion line. In a lawsuit filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, Smith claims she made a deal with Pressly to "represent and market" her line and spent "substantial devotion of time and effort" doing so, only to have her commissions shelved by Jaime and her company. She is suing the star for $150,000 in fees, reports TMZ.com. A spokesman for Pressly was unavailable for comment. (This news article provided by World Entertainment News Network) |
