The Deanna Durbin flick, "Lady on a Train", circa 1945. It's a murder mystery. Bill has a small part as a police officer while Liz has a more sizeable role as the sister of the murder victim. It was a fun movie to watch.

Edward Everett Horton is in this movie too. Bill comes in at 5:48 in Part One. He plays a cop. I'll look for Liz next.

Let me know your thoughts! I had no idea that movie was up on YouTube. I wonder if Universal knows

I also noticed that Allen Jenkins (who played a cop in 3 I Love Lucy's: Too Many Crooks, Ricky and Fred are TV fans, & New Neighbors) was also in this movie - he played the chauffeur.

IT'S funny when you see an actor or actress that you associate with a certain role, in another one, either a lot older or younger.
haunted, can you tell me the story behind your screen name ? I'm fascinated !!!!! |

Well, it is available through Netflix, if the other options don't pan out.
Part of the Deanna Durbin collection--although not every movie of hers is out on DVD (or Netflix doesn't carry them all). |
