I'm looking forward to "The Zohan" myself, but I'm also anxious to see "Get Smart." Even if the rest of the movie sucks, Anne Hathaway would make a great Agent 99.
I'm also looking forward to "Sunshine Cleaning" and "Doubt," the latter of which is coming out this fall. Some other movies that have no specific release dates include "Coming Attractions," "Extreme Movie"(formerly known as "Parental Guidance Suggested"), and a few others I forget right now. |

I think there is no way Sex and the City will be #1 again.
Beyond repeat business there can only be like 12 women and 3 gay guys who haven't seen it yet. I would bet Kung Fu Panda will be tops. And by the way, has anyone noticed that they had HEAVILY advertised this movie as far back as March? I mean you would have thought the movie was coming out the first week in May at the latest. In fact I would go so far as to say they advertised Kung Fu Panda more in April then they did the last couple weeks. I mean everyday, 3 times a day there would be a commercial for it. It's like they wanted to ingrain this into your head so when it was finally released- in June- they hoped people would respond with "oh my I thought it would never be out! We gotta go see it" This kind of promoting is probably going to work huge on the family front. |
