Default Anyone like the holidays as much as me?

I wonder if I'm the only one. I miss Xmas, Halloween and Thanksgiving all year long. I watch holiday specials throughout the summer, I'm waiting for QVC's xmas in July and already have my Halloween costumes in mind. (I'm going to either be Punky Brewster or Erin from Esurance by the way)Am I weird? Does anyone like the holidays like this?

i like xmas the least out of the three. i think its the build up toward it, the anticipation but the actual day is always a letdown. i've lost so many people in my family the past couple years that its not the same. i love the decorating aspect of it though and the tradition of watching xmas specials.

It's not the holiday I'm not too crazy about. I actually love Christmas but for the joy of giving not receiving. Let's just say that I refuse to shop in any store that has signs saying Merry Xmas or Happy Holidays.

You're not weird, but I certainly don't hear that often from a lot of people lol. All I hear is how stressful the holidays are, but I can understand. They don't excite me as much as they used to, but I still look forward to them...but definitely not as much as I look forward to summer. It lasts longer, you can relax more, and still have fun.

i love summer too. as much as i miss the holidays i want summer to be as slow as possible. i want to savor every ray of sunshine. i love to swim and look forward all year to my pool. we just opened it but are waiting for it to warm up. and we don't have it open for long. we opened it the 29th of may but have to way for it to warm up and clean it and then once we get one cold snap in august its hard to get the temp in the pool back up. last year in mid august we had a cool night or two and the pool became to cold to enjoy comfortably.

I love all of the holidays and I like to listen to Christmas music during the summer because it helps me to cool off. All of those Charlie Brown cartoon specials bring back some great memories.

I like the holidays..The holidays I like are 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I like to go swimming and go to the beach as I always do during the summer. I like Charlie Brown Holiday Specials. I love How The Grinch Stole Christmas as the cartoon version and the movie version with Jim Carrey.

I enjoy holiday specials and movies. I think I enjoy the anticipation more than the actual day. I've learned a long time ago not to depend on gifts that you really want--often times you have to buy those for yourself! "Almost everything you wanted, but didn't get for Christmas, is now on sale at Sears!" I actually enjoy seeing the expression on other people's faces--it brings me more contentment.

I'm that way with Christmas too. It's just depressing anymore, but I go nuts shopping and decorating and listening to Christmas music.

i love the holidays. my favorite is Christmas just because of what it stands for: giving. and Christians (like myself) like it because it's His birthday.
my least favorite is Halloween.
