Did you all know that the only one in Elizabeth's family that liked Fred and approved of the marriage was Elizabeth's mother, Essie Winfield? Elizabeth's father, Elroy Winfield, and all her other siblings hated Fred's guts. The only others who liked Fred were the nieces and nephews.

I didn't know about Elizabeth's parents and how they felt about Frd, but I knew about the nieces and nephews. It would have been nice to see some of Fred's relatives and how THEY felt about Elizabeth.

Did you get this info from one of the spinoffs?

No episode of Sanford & Son ever mentions any of this....
