I have a better idea, Why don't the utility companies and others stop printing on the return envelopes Please place stamp here, The post office will not deliver mail without postage. How damn dumb do they think people are? I'm sure the could save a few bucks each month by not having that printed.

No they shouldn't. I'm sick of everything turning electronic. I like having a paper copy of my bill for my records and I prefer to write a check and mail it. Keeps the PO in business.

I agree. I prefer a paper copy. I know online billing is the 'cool' thing to do, but I wouldn't feel safe doing that. Just my personal preference.
Some places now operate paperless. Even some hospitals are paperless. Imagine what problems there would be if your doctor needs your chart, but the computer system is down....

I pay my bills online and still get the paper copy, free of charge. I hope that doesn't change.

What abt those poor senior citizens on fixed incomes? Why should they be forced to pay for something that was once free? I know some people feel a $1 is not much or even $2 but to an older person who depends on every single dollar they get, that is a lot.
