ph1l Member Senior Member Join Date: Apr 19, 2004 Posts: 1,362	The Skipper and Mr Howell on WWW Alan Hale and Jim Backus were guest stars on The Night of the Sabatini Death episode. Jim Backus' voice was nothing like his McGoo/Thurston Howell personas. If I didn't see his face I wouldn't have picked his voice. He was quite an actor. Alan Hale was as jovial as ever. He always brings a kind of happiness to his performances. One thing that didn't sit too well was at the end of the episode when his character said he'll take a vacation on a deserted island with the Gilligan's Island theme in the background. It didn't seem appropriate to me.
