You’ll be happy to know that we will do occasional weekly tributes and flashbacks to old shows. Sunday nights prime time will be dedicated to three classics –



WKRP 7-8pm eastern

Newhart 8-9pm eastern

Honeymooners 9-10pm eastern

It's been a really long time since I've seen much of season 1 of this show, so I must say I'm not used to seeing it so clear, lol. I mean, the pilot looked like it was shot yesterday. Really nice seeing them uncut.

I'm planning on checking the DVD set out of the library one of these days. It's odd seeing the first season shot on tape, rather than film as it would be for the remaining 7 seasons.

They're now onto season 2 and the emergence of Stephanie as a regular as well as the show shot on film instead of videotape. Unfortunately the picture quality leaves something to be desired (these really look washed out and the sound quality isn't all that hot either).

That seems to be the case with a lot of sitcoms filmed in that era, which is a shame.

To me the episodes seem to look a bit better than the first couple or so. Though the obvious sign of film is still there.

I love how just as soon as I get used to seeing the show on videotape, it's on to season 2.
