Default BET made it seem like Willis wanted to drop out of college because the guys threw a

bucket of Water on HIM in the dorm-lol Right after Willis gets splashed, he returns home saying he doesn't want to go back and I know it was something else between the time he was splashed and the time he returned home.

BTW: why did they hae to FREEZE the scene hen Mr. D was SPLASHED???-lol I would have wanted to see his reaction to get soaked

After noticing BET's edits on A Different World, they are probably going to be at least in third place behind ION's editing skills.

BET and ION should make us appreciate the N@N and TV Land edits so much more

I started appreciating the old days of tv more after seeing that edit last night on ADW. During Whitley's wedding vows, they cut to a commercial. THAT has never happened in ANY OF THE SYNDICATION runs that I have seen since ADW began airing in syndication. I could not believe that. Also in the episode where Whitley is talking on the phone to Montell Williams, three of the girls react by making these funny faces with their hands. Right there is when a commercial is supposed to have occurred, but NOOOOOOOOOO, I saw the tiny glitch of when the commercial break was to have started and then immediately the scene begins where it was left off at.

It seemed to be going pretty good but watching the marathon really opened my eyes. I guess because I am more of a fan of the series AFTER Lisa Bonet so any editing that occurred during that season, I didn't notice or care.

It seems as time goes by regardless of the network, shows are being spliced in some crazy a** ways. I mean, they are still going to get their commercials in, why does it seem like monkeys are handling this? Hell, monkeys might do a better job than these fools.

I don't think so at least with BET we get the regular syndication edits. With ION we got their own edits. I don't think you can put BET in the same category with ION.

I don't see why you are complaining about BET, they don't cut out any scenes like ION did.

ION sucked at editing they actually cut out a lot from their episodes, BET does not do that.

I know but my point is neither BET or ION is on the editing level of N@N and TV LAND

And my point is that BET commercial breaks are the only thing that sucks. Their actual editing isn't bad since it's syndication edits.

Exactly Briennas. They cut to weird spots because these days commercial breaks come more. BOTH Diff'rent Strokes and A Different World are the old standard local syndication prints...so BET is not editing anything themselves. All they are doing is putting in commercial breaks. Don't know how many times I have to tell Solomon this.

There are quite a few scenes in each episode we didn't see on Nick at Nite and we seem them on BET.
