When I first got the e-mail, I get excited and thought it's a release of the season 3...
Then I opened it then I was sad!! I hope they answer the question and if anyone can listen to it... Don't know if I can but I will try. Thanks for the heads up!!

Let's hope they can help push along the DVD releases. This is too good a show to just stop at two seasons.

The series does seem to be gathering momentum, and is such wonderful nostalgia, that I hope more DVD sets will be on the horizon.

I do think that it's a good sign that they are having this interview and the fact that they are having it to actually talk about season 3, it's very encouraging.

Okay guys, I sent an e-mail to the show host explaining that I wasn't able to list to the program.. but here is the e-mail.... FINGERS CROSSED!!
Currently there are no plans to release the next season, but we suspect that Shout Factory will sublicense the show from Universal (as they have with McHale's Navy and Adam 12) and will release it during the coming year. You can hear rebroadcasts of the show daily at 4 p.m. PDT through next Tuesday 6/3. Thanks! Stuart |

It seems logical that Shout Factory would take over these DVD's from Universal. No complaints from me as long as they put all uncut episodes on the discs.

Well, whoever releases them in the future, I'm sure they will be uncut versions. I haven't heard of a DVD from any show not being uncut. They wouldn't sell many copies, at least I would never buy them if they were the same cut up versions that TV Land shows.

With this news regarding Leave It To Beaver, I wonder what this means for future DVD's from Universal? Has Universal suspended their DVD operations for old TV shows? I have the first four seasons of Emergency!, I hope the last two seasons get released, if not by Universal then from another studio. |
