Cool You've Been Watching Too Much "Dukes" When...

You yell "YEEEEHAW!" every time you drive your car.

You buy a basset hound and call it Flash.

You call every sheriff in town Rosco.

You own at least one pair of "Daisy Dukes".

You think all lawmen in your area are corrupt.

You refer to your assistant as "dipstick".

You start eating raw liver and black coffee for breakfast!!!

You hold a ferverent hate towards 'Coy' and 'Vance'

Your car has a 'Dixie' horn

You take up moonshining

The local repairman has to explain for the hundereth time that cars can't survive jumping over lakes.

Dukefest becomes the highlight of your life.

You wrote hate letters to CMT when Dukes was taken off the program.

You find your selve slipping into a southern accent and saying things like "Possum on a gumbush" and "Flapjacks on a feriswheel"

When you talk to someone, you ask if their ears are open.

You get worried when you drive near any county or state lines - even if you are not on probation!!

Your idea of great fun is to go skinny-dipping with your cousin - before someone makes off with your car (and clothes)!

You wear high heels with cutoff denim shorts.

You constantly complain to your brother-in-law about "your fat sister, my wife!"

Whenever a plan of yours goes awry, you vow to "git dem Duke boys!!!!"

You refer to dollars as "simoleons" (sp?).

You never drink alcohol at the Boar's Nest - just a frosted buttermilk.

You put a blow-up doll that looks like you in the bed of your jail cell while you make a break for it.

You dress up in a white suit and cowboy hat and order people around.

When you need to find a mechanic, you look in the yellow pages for Cooter Davenport.

You have nothing better to do on a typical day except initiate car chases and elude the incompetent police.

You favorite food is catfish and hushpuppies, with two pieces of pecan pie for dessert.

You are picked out of a police lineup in which you are the ONLY participant (a la Cletus Hogg).

^^^ all of these above were

1) you stick/paint a Rebel flag on top of your car and you paint it orange with a black 01 on the side. (living in Kentucky, i've seen this and want one SO bad. lol)
2) you always use the Dukes style of getting out of jail (which is usually the most dangerous but exciting way)
3) you know every episode line by line
4) you marry a woman named LuLu
5) you marry your deputy's sister
6) you work at place called The Boars Nest
7) you eat at a place call The Boars Nest
8) you sing the theme song while driving along in your General Lee look-a-like car.

It's so true though. This guy on the way to my cousin's has one; someday we are going to break down and ask him for a ride! And my other cousin almost did that to his go-cart. We have this jeep, and ever since Dukes, I've been tempted to have it painted just like Daisy's.

You name your two boys and a girl "Bo, Luke and Daisy"!
You exit and enter your car without opening the door!
(this was already mentioned but...) You have a basset hound named "Flash"!

And here's something that I really did...

I went to a car show back in the 80's ONLY because the General Lee was going to be there. Could have cared less about the other cars or the celebrities!

Andrea

PS: All of your suggestions had me I should watch this show more often!

You make it a point to skip over the Coy & Vance episodes.

You think the Robot P. Coltrane and alien episodes were very BAD ideas.

You are still angry that Daisy and Enos never got married.

You call aerobics "aerobatics", like Rosco does.

You are immediately suspicious of a good-looking stranger from out of town.

You slap the hands of anyone trying to get a bite of your meal ala Boss.

You wonder why the bad guys almost always work in pairs.

You wonder why Daisy seems to have a billion different outfits while the Duke men always seem to wear the same ones.

You wonder why the Hazzard PD doesn't find a better place to keep the key to the prison cells than within reach of a prisoner and a stick.

Cool

You paint a confederate flag on the roof of your car

Your weapon of choice is bow and arrow

You name your car after a confederate general

You find yourself unable to cross the county line
