So, I'm packing for another move and I've been watching/listening to Volume 3, which includes the segment about The Dale.
Given how we're in a greater gas crisis today than we were in the 1970's, at least as far as price is concerned.... how sad is it that I would totally consider investing in The Dale? ![]() Obviously, NOT The Dale... but a newer, more British version. I just think it's interesting how economic crisis can make a person look to alternatives that just aren't realistic. Yet, after looking at my fuel bill, I can see myself saying, "Three wheeled car? 70 miles to the gallon? For less than $2000? Sign me up!"

Thing is though that those would be so unsafe on America's roads because of all the big trucks and SUVs that would just roll over you and not realize it until it's too late. The Dale was cool because it was American sized. Too bad it's rear wheel was held together by 2 by 4s.
