I was wondering was there really an 8063 if so I wonder if there was a 4077 in real life as well

I think the 8063 was the number of the MASH unit that Richard Hooker (that was his "pen name"-his real name was Dr. Richard Hornberger) actually served in during the korean war, and he based the 4077th MASH unit on it. And the 4077th was fictional-I think all the MASH units back then started with an "8".
