It would be so much fun to discuss eps like is done on the other bds but there seem to be 2 glitches:
1-not a lot of response on this bd - at least compared to some others - like the I Love Lucy bd - which is always humming. (But then of course, I Love Lucy is a major classic and icon in TV's showcase and while I really enjoy S&TC it is NOWHERE'S IN THE SAME LEAGUE. (It would be like comparing an enjoyable movie to Citizen Kane) 2-The Adult Themes & we are a PG-13 Bd. Just some of the vocab on the eps would get a cyber bleep bleep bleep. I have been able to discuss some feelings abt eps where there were adult themes by referring to them genteely or by code words that anyone who had clearly watched the ep would know what I truly meant. (Carrie and the politician eps for ex) Hoping someone will come along who would really like to discuss an ep. I have them all. It's weird this and I Love Lucy are the only two shows where I have everything. Bought S&TC series on a lark. I was at Target in Jersey City the price was right ($189) & the tax in Jersey is low (3%). And from TV I remember the great shots of the city and the hot people and the guest stars who I liked - so I said what the he**. The I.L.L. was a total non-brainer -also bought at Target - which had the best price. Now I just have to start to really watch all the ILL eps (actually I probably have seen them all but many not for 25+ yrs), instead of posting like a fiend here @ SO!!!! |

^True, not many people post on this board. I enjoy the show too, they've been playing some of the episodes on a local channel here late at night, & I record it when I can.
I enjoyed the episode where Carrie & Aidan go to his cabin, & then Big shows up. And of course the two guys get in a fight & then end up being buddies at the end. Poor Aidan, him & Carrie never really stood a chance with Big in the picture. |

Yeah, Carrie was such a jerk. Aidan was such a doll & she treated him like sh*t. But Big did have savoir-faire and IMO was much more evolved than Carrie. But she should have made a choice and stuck to it and not play anyone along. But her karma came back to her in the post it note from Berger. Carrie is vapid with a capital V. And Pete, the smart pup, got even by eating one of her Manolo's! Good doggie!!!!! |
