Today's comedians admire Redd Foxx
Ive noticed the past few years Redd Foxx is often recognized by other comedians.
Dave Chapelle on an episode of his Comedy Central program was wearing a t-shirt with a big picture of Redd, one of the Wayan brothers was doing an imatation of Fred Sanford on a recent sitcom and I heard Eddie Murphy liked Redd too (Redd appeared in one of Eddie Murphy's movies). Redd Foxx was one of a kind, that's for sure. I loved him on Sanford & Son, but there was so much more to the man. His early standup and albums were classic. He's a legend.

I'm not surprised. Redd Foxx broke a lot of ground in entertainment - and he was hilarious!!! It's humor like his (and S&S) that is timeless.
