Default Season 8 started today and I SCREWED UP!!!!!!, DAMM!!!!!!!

I forgot that only 12 eps can fit on one DVD in SLP mode and tried to record the 3pm-4pm eps and was only able to get the 3pm ep. The 3:30pm was the 1st ep of season 8 and I only got 9 min of it.

I'm such a A$$Hole

How did you ever figure out 12 episodes fit on one DVD in slp mode?

Maybe I'm just a quality nut, but I've been recording the show on DVD, in SP mode, which holds 4 episodes (2 hours). I'm just wasting DVDs left and right, but oh well, it's worth it. I figure at the end, I'll count how many discs I used up to record seasons 3-8.

SLP mode = 6 hours, and at 2 episodes per hour, that's 12 episodes. Although, on my recorder, it's EP mode, but yeah. I also have a different SLP mode, which is 8 hours, and SEP, which is 10, but both look like total crap.

I'm such a A$$Hole

That's the reason why I only do 7 episodes per DVD.

Sounds logical. I wouldn't take that chance on NOT being able to get a full episode.

When I record from my camcorder tapes, I always make sure I use a new blank DVD disc because I don't want to try and see if I have enough room on another one.

I dont plan to trade these eps to anyone so the 12 on 1 DVD works for me.
