April and Bobby

I have been watching Dallas on Soapnet and the series is in its final seasons. To tell you the truth I am enjoying the April and Bobby thing! April is so much better suited for Bobby. It got so that I couldn't stand Pam anymore! What a sniveling whiny nag she got to be! I like April soooooooooo much better! Does anybody agree?
And another thing that I have realized. The first time that I watched the later seasons I didn't like them. But I do like them now! I like Cally and James.

No! I hated April with Bobby. It's just wrong that Bobby would even date, let alone marry, a gold digging tramp like April. She slept with his brother (a married man) for money and was married to his cousin.

Pam is sooo much better suited for Bobby. She's a classy lady.

I agree with you that Pam and Bobby were great .............at first. But the writer's changed her character into a self pitying cry baby. I just got so sick of her! I was really angry about that! But that is what Soap's are all about. I guess I like the romantic Salzburg storyline. Don't get me wrong. I really liked Pam at first. But by the time that Jenna came into the picture I was glad that Bobby moved on.

I HATE APRIL. If we follow the character of Bobby carefully then you know that Bobby would never even date a woman who ever slept with J.R. Well, April was a slut and she slept with J.R. She was money hungry. She is far from the type of woman Bobby would have ever considered. If Bobby had the morals not to ever consider Katherine Wentworth, someone who had her own money and was drop dead gorgeous and intelligient, why would he ever want April? YUCK!!! Mind you, Katherine had not yet slept with J.R. until she had to. I hated how the DALLAS writers tried to make us forget that the April character was one way and then changed her to suit a storyline.

They did the same thing with Jenna Wade. The first two Jenna's we were introduced to, wanted to break up Bobby and Pam. She was a conniving whore. When the character is played by Priscilla Presley, suddenly she is this character who the writers try and get us to believe she is this poor woman who is struggling to raise a daughter, she is misunderstood, blah blah blah. GIMME A FRIGGIN' BREAK. I can't forget the whole Ray and Lucy incestuous relationship and I can't forget how April really was.

(I am assuming)while they were dating so Pam slept with Bobby's brother! And yes Jenna turned into a saint! So funny when you think about it. So I am sure that April repented and Bobby sainted her too!Ok I like April so sue me!

Yes, Pam did sleep with Ray but this was way before Ray was known to have been a half-breed...half a Ewing.

Pam did not know that Ray was Bobbie's brother. None of the Ewings did.

However, April slept with Bobby's married brother for money, similar to a hooker. JR grew up with Bobby. No one knew that Ray was a Ewing brother.

Also, April slept with not only Bobby's acknowledged brother, but a married man.

Ray was not known as Bobby's brother at the time, and was not married a married man when Pam dated him. We don't even know for sure if Pam and Ray actually "slept" together. Some people date and never sleep together.

Exactly. It also shows the writers changed the Bobby character. By this point, most of the DALLAS characters were doing things that were soooo out of character. It wasn't the same. The Bobby we knew would not be with a cheap slut who slept with his brother and seeking money.
