Default Well It's Official, now that the Flyers are out of the Playoffs, Phila Sports have

reached another milestone. Philly reached an imaginable 100 straight seasons without a championship since the 76ers won in 1983. This was brought to philly fans attention by the local media of course.

Memorbale Philly Moments since the 1983 Parade in Philly

1993 phillies-Joe carter homerun
1997 Flyers were swept by Detroit
2001 76ers were beaten by the lakers
2004 Eagles were beaten by pats

Can we do a hundred more????-lol Let's hear it for the Philly sports teams

100 seasons sounds like a lot, but it's not like Philadelphia has never won a championship. I think all Atlanta sports team have only won 1. It's not like the Philadelphia sports teams have been perennial losers.

Don't forget that the Phillies have the most losses of any MLB team in the history of baseball which was accomplished last year

10,000 losses-lol

I think the 100 straight seasons without a championship stat is in comparison to cities with 4 pro teams like

NYC
Boston
Washington D.C
Chicago
Detroit

Atleast one of the pro teams in those cities has won a title since the last time Philly won in 83

NYC-giants, yankees
Boston-Pats, Red Sox
Chicago-Bulls
Detroit-Redwings, Pistons
D.C-redskins

Cleveland has probably gone more than that with only 3 teams, so I would say that's a little worse. They have one less team and more losing seasons.

I know but again I'm just guessing, they are compaing what the other MAJOR US. cities have done since 83. I have to confirm but I think that is what this is all about
