I need help with a title for a 30 minute sitcom type show that used to be on Showtime or HBO (I can't remember which) just a few years ago. It was set in Southern California and in every show a small earthquake would hit. The family was well-to-do but represented many current problems. The father was in an ongoing affair, the mother was a suburban housewife on the verge of a nervous breakdown, the housemaid was an Asian American woman who worked as a phone s*x operator at night, and their son (although caucasian) modeled himself after urban African American youth. The son had an African American friend who was the most normal person on the show and usually offered his take on this dysfunctional family by talking to the camera. I believe it ran for a couple seasons and was titled after the family name. Could you please help me with more information (title, cast, etc)?

For anyone interested...
I found out from another site that the name of the show was Sherman Oaks and it was on Showtime for two seasons. |
