R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles is reportedly in talks to join the cast of TV hit Desperate Housewives. The singer/actress' manager father Matthew Knowles has allegedly already landed the "Crazy In Love" hitmaker a guest appearance on the program, but according to reports, he is looking to secure Beyonce a more prominent role.

A source in the Knowles camp tells MediaTakeOut.com, "They've already agreed to give Beyonce a cameo appearance. But (we're) hoping that (she) could be written in for a recurring role, or possibly even a permanent one."

I would love to see Beyonce have a prominent role on Desperate Housewives. I love Beyonce. I would like to see her do some drama instead of these corny movies she continues to play in LOL.

I hope she gets a permanent role AND GIVEN A POSITIVE CHARACTER ROLE, not some racial stereotype, such as the high school drop out trying to make ends meet or the talk-too-much-and-into-everyone's-business type or the ghetto single mom w/ 5 kids on welfare, but then again, if she was, she couldn't afford to be living in the neighborhood on Wisteria Lane.

She should play a young, successful doctor or attorney who all the men like, but she's humble about it. She should give Eva Longoria & Nicholette Sheridan some competition...not that they're anything special!

I agree with you Couch Potato. I also wanna say i like her Obsessed movie. It was finally good to see her playing in something different instead of these corny music movies she does and corny Pink Panther and Austin Powers movies LOL. Ali Larter who was the white girl in Obsessed is hot.
