At this point, I am thinking that a given scene of a certain episode was edited out of both the syndicated version as well as the DVD. In the past, I have posted quite a bit about the incident in which Grace anounced that she had been putting Leo's neck pillow in between her butt and the toilet seat. I saw this episode in prime-time once and thought that the incident was halarious! I always had a liking for Grace's toilet-related remarks. In any event, I cannot for the life of me find this incident anywhere! I was almost sure that it took place on the episode sequential to the one in which Grace finds Leo's travel bag on the boat. This is the one in which she finds what she thinks is a love note either from him to a female doctor or the other way around. This episode ended a season. In the season premiar the next fall, Leo comes back to Brooklyn to retreive his bag and in the process, clears his name. I felt pretty confident that it was in that bag that Grace also found her husband's inflatable neck pillow. Having, no idea what it was, she used it for her own enjoyment. However, I have the next season on DVD and this incedent is "not" in there. The only explanation that I can think of is that it got edited out. Maybe some viewers protested saying that it grossed them out. However, I thought that it was "very" funny! If anyone knows whether I am confusing this incident with an incident from another episode or another season, please help me out!

The episode you are referring to is 24, season 5's finale. It was a supersized episode originally, and the syndicated 21 minute version ended up on the DVD instead. I too have been trying to find that episode. Two episodes prior to that was an episode called MAY DIVORCE BE WITH YOU, and that too was a supersized episode with the syndicated version ending up on the DVD.

The first thing that I would like to do is thank the guy who responded to my thread for taking a "huge" load off of my mind! I "really" thought that I was going crazy! I have on DVD the episode in which Grace finds the note in Leo's travel bag and becomes suspicious. This episode ended a season. I also have the next season in which Leo comes back to Brooklyn to retrieve his bag. However, according to the last poster, it was the episode in which Grace found the bag that had originally been supersized. Dose this mean that the end of season five finds Leo having already come back to Brooklyn? I am having a hard time understanding the chronology of events! If the last poster would come back to the board and clarify, I would consider him "well" on his way to sainthood!

Leo comes back to Brooklyn on the season 6 premeire. Also edited in the season 5 finale are Deborah Harry's cameo, and during the credits, Rosario and Karen are on the Russian boat.

Because of how little luck I have had in stimulating any conversation by starting new threads, I thought that I would see if things might be different if I bring this one up to the top. The deleated scene on the forementioned episode is one of many in which Grace acts as if the bathroom is her favorite room of the house and her time sitting on the toilet is her favorite time of the day! I always had a certain liking for Grace's toilet related humor! I guess that you could say that a lot of it is probably because the bathroom is associated with physical comfort. Being the Jewish American Princess that Grace is, she looks for physical comfort wherever she get get it! The neck pillow incident was related to her quest for comfort as well as her general kookiness. However, I think that coming from Grace, these toilet comments come out rather cute and even a little bit sexy!

Because I have not been successful in stimulating any conversation with any of my new post, I decided to see what I could do by bringing this old one up to the top. What do other fans think of the reality of the deleted scenes in the syndicated version and the DVD. I always thought that Grace had a talent for making her bathroom activities sound rather cute and even a little bit sexy! Does anyone out there agree with me on that?

The topic of this thead and the one titled "Three's Company" is esentially the same topic put in different words. They were both vehicles used to stimulate some conversation about something that I considered to be a halarious episode! In between the time that I brought the "Three's Company" one to the top and the present moment, it has generated fourteen new views but zero responses. Because of this, I have decided to see what happens if I bring this one to the top. I am still very interested in hearing from anyone who has anything to say about this classic episode!

This is the second of two threads on this page that I am bringing to the top this evening. I am doing what I can to stimulate some conversation about this fine series! What do other fans think of the company's decision to put the syndicated rather than the super-sized version of this episode onto DVD. I think that it is a real bummer!

I am bringing this thread to the top for two essential reasons. The first has to do with my ongoing quest to stimulate some conversation. So far, I have been unsuccessful in generating any responses with anything new that I could think of. Because of this, I decided to see what I could do by raising this oldie but goodie to the top. Also, I would still very much like to see the incident that was deleted from the syndicated version as well as the DVD. If anyone out there has the super-sized episode and would be willing to upload it onto 'Youtube", I would be ever so greatful!
