Default When did you begin watching Facts of Life?

It debuted in 1979. I was 14. I have been a fan ever since. Although it has been a while since I have seen it on the air.

I didn't start watching until Nick at Nite started airing reruns. I want to say that was early 2001 or so? Not sure. If it was early 2001, I was 15 (hard to watch in '79 when I wasn't born yet - haha).

Anyone recall the voting thing it used to do (I'm not sure if fans voted online or what), but whichever of the 3 shows got voted for the most, Nick at Nite would air it? I always got excited when it was FOL.

I remember that. I used to get online and vote for FOL over and over.

I was 3 years old in 1979. I didn't watch FOL then of course. I remember watching the first-run episodes from about 3rd grade until the show went off. I was so sad when it went off. Then I started watching it again on USA in the nineties and I think that was the first time I saw the entire series.

Thanks for the welcome FactsFan!

Anyone have MeTV and Me-Too? I found out that FOL airs on Me-Too Monday through Saturday. During the work week, it's on in the early afternoon, so not the best time, but it's nice that it's on TV again. If only they could put in on a channel that most people get...

I first began watching FOL when I was in seventh grade back in 2001. TV Land & Nick at Nite were both playing episodes & I got hooked! I remember Hallmark even played some episodes as well. Sigh. I miss FOL being on tv.

I was born the same year the show debuted, so I never saw it aired the first time. I later watched FOL in syndication, and have watched the first three seasons on DVD. Are seasons 4 and beyond ever going to see the light of day on DVD??

I watched it when it first came out in 1979. I remember when they were about to do the 2nd season and my mother said they are taking all the girls off accept for 3. I yelled they better not take Natalie and Tootie off and my mom didn't tell me she read it, and said no they are keeping thoses 2.

She also said they are keeping Blair and adding a new one to the show.

When I yelled it woke my dad up and boy was he angry. I ran and hid so I wouldn't get hit for waking him up.

Well I was born back in 82 so I vaguely remember watching it back then, but I think I started watching it back during its 3 to last season. I do remember watching it when NBC had it in reruns. But I didn't really get into it till I saw it on Nick@Nite, that when I became a huge fan

Yep, I watched right from the start. Of course, when NBC started daily reruns around 1982 (or 81), I watched them over and over--had them memorized! LOL

Default When did you start watching FOL?

Toward the end of the 1982-83 season. Followed it almost to the end.
