Default wide screen or full?

what screen format do you mainly watch movies in?
i'm a full screen junkie. i've been told that you see more on wide, but those bars are annoying.

^ I'm with you. I know I'm missing out on a lot of footage, but I hate those bars. We have a big screen tv, so those bars are huge. The problem is that the movies from Netflix are wide screen. Very few offer full screen. It bothers me less than it bothers my husband. He HATES those bars.

Movie

If I have a choice: full-screen. But most of the movies that I rent are only
available in wide-screen. But I hate the "letter-box" format.

I would much rather watch a movie in full screen, the wide screen gets on my nerves.

Full screen!!! Don't understand the hype over wide-screen!

I always liked widescreen better.

The bars never bothered me.

For me it feels more like a movie theater experience.

Yep, I would agree if my tv was the same size as the theaters

I like fullscreen the best. sometime its hard to find movies with just fullscreen. I liked when you can pick widescreen or fullscreen. i think all dvds should have were you can pick which one. i don't mind widescreen. some widescreesn not that bad. I like fullscreen the best. I only buy widescreen if it only comes in widescreen.

I definately prefer Full Screen, although Wide-Screen isn't as "bad" as it was it seems. But I still prefer Full Screen.

Once you buy an HDTV, Widescreen is the ONLY way to go.

Wide screen all the way. There are some movies that should only be seen on wide screen.
