"Dear Mama" by Tupac is the first one that comes to mind. He was so expressive and his lyrics was on the money. You could tell he really loved his mother.

That was a No. 1 hit (on Billboard's country chart) by Waylon Jennings & Willie Nelson, in January 1978. It remained in the No. 1 spot for four weeks (and in the Top 40 for a total of 12 weeks). One of their many duets. |

The actual title of the song is "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys" and was written and originally recorded by actor/singer Ed Bruce in 1976.
