When Lucy wanted to move into the bigger apartment, Ricky told her they couldn't afford the extra $20 a month rent. We all know that Lucy got her way.
In the Swiss Alps when the fab four were stranded in the cabin, we heard them make confessions (not Ricky of course ). Fred confessed to charging Ricky $10 a month extra for rent. Ethel then stated her confession and said every month she gave Ricky back the $10. Ok, how did Ethel account for the missing $10 every month on the books? Secondly, Ricky obviously knew the rent difference from the smaller apartment to the larger apt. was $20, so how did $10 more come into play? Are we to assume that there was a "rent increase"? Did Fred lie to Ricky abt needing to raise the rent by $10 and try to keep that to himself? |

How confusing! I chalk this up to just another "it doesn't make sense" observation.

In the SUBLEASE episode, Ricky mentioned the cost of the rent being $150. So, was the rent really $140? and the smaller apartment's rent was $120?
This whole rent discrepancy has me
