Hazel Leota Head is the woman who has been on the run for about 10 years. She murdered her boyfriend and then fled the seen. How she would scam her victims is putting her profile in single adds and go under a false name. She would move in with the guy she met and then kill them. She is a drifter and hitchhikes around the country. So does anybody have any thoughts on this?

I know that she's been profiled a number of times on AMW, but they still haven't caught her. Maybe if they profile her enough, she'll eventually get caught.
It's been 10 years, but there's always hope. |

This case has always struck me as being odd. There has been a staggering amount of publicity in this case and yet there seem to have few (if any) real leads. This really should have been solved sooner as Ms. Head isn't that bright and she seems to need to be the center of attention.

That is surprising that there have been no leads. There is a chance she has murdered again too.

This is one of those cases no one talks about. Married 10 damn times. I wonder if she had any kids?? I'll have to read about her. Poor Mr. Barker taken advantage of during his grief!

Just saw this episode last night for the first time and was shocked to find out she has never been found. She didn't look like the brightest bulb nor was she in good health judging from the show but someone she has managed to evade arrest?
I can only assume at this point she must be a Jane Doe in some morgue. |

I think she is still alive, and living a lifestyle that doesn't require her to file taxes, have bank accounts, or even own a phone.

Think she was murdered while hitchhiking. Cannot see any way this idiot could have stayed off the radar for 20 years.

No fool like an old fool. His daughter could see she was a gold digging floozy the first time she saw her.

I don't want to admit it, but I think she's dead too. With the telltale gap between her teeth, she probably would have been easy to find.

I'm gonna have to agree with this too unless she's well hidden in some remote country. The last confirmed sighting was December 1999.
