observation (Betty) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

i borrowed my aunts copy of 'Best of Match Game' on DVD and Betty is one of many guest on the show. As some of you know so was Charles Nelson Riley.

in the episode where the girls go to a Burt Reynolds Dinner Theater, Rose comes in with a list of some of the stars going to attend. She names off a few names and Dorothy and Blanche say wow! when she gets to Charles Nelson Riley, they don't say anything. i wonder when she read that at the table read, it brought back old memories for Betty?

just an observation.

Purplesaurus Rex was IMHO, the BEST KoolAid flavor ever!! It was grape-lemonade. It was discontinued several years ago. Now I just mix the grape and the lemonade, it's close enough.

wish i could have seen him. i don't remember him at all. i was born in 1987. was that after his time?

It came out around 1986 I think. I used to drink it everyday after I came home from school!!

This little article talks about Purplesaurus Rex, but a year isn't mentioned, I don't think! Check it our while I look for a year of the "P-Rex":

Could not find an exact date, but the earliest date I could find was the 80's --- I did find the original commercial on YouTube:

I remember that commercial! That dinosaur looked more pink than purple, lol! But that was the best Koolaid flavor ever. I miss the 80's!
