1976 - The number one song in the country was "Welcome Back," by JOHN SEBASTIAN. It was the theme to the ABC sitcom, Welcome Back Kotter, which starred GABE KAPLAN and JOHN TRAVOLTA.

It's funny that I start liking the song when the closing credits are coming to a end. The scene when the guy is on the Bike. So It would be nice to hear the entire song

I heard the song in it's entirety on one of my music channels on cable. It was on the 70s songs channel. It wasn't real long, I want to say it was around 3-4minutes long.

It was one of those regular length songs that we were accustomed to back in the 70's. It did not have a 12" mix or extended version.

But like I said, Solomon you can download the song or buy it at the store on one of those compilations CD's.

I can't do nothing on Youtube because I have dial up-lol But I guess I can sample it there at work
