Default Steve Levitan: Back To You Will Return in the Fall!

Like this season's other new shows, the comedy's initial momentum was short-lived, halted by the Writers Guild of America strike. "Back to You," which returned April 16, will air its finale on May 14, the last of five new episodes this season, with four more slated for the fall, Levitan said.

Not exactly a renewal, but I'll take it thus far!

Good news! I hope it's true. I loved the show before the strike, but after the strike, it conflicted with other shows and I never got back into it. I hope to start up again with the second season. As a KOQ fan, I went through the whole "waiting for a renewal" thing the last 3 years it was on, so I know how frustrating it is!

I doubt they'd air the remaining 4 episodes in September, and then say "That's it." That would just be mean to the viewers.

Remember, this is FOX we are talking about here. They are certainly not your conventional network. With that said, it seems that a renewal might be around the corner! (Crosses fingers)

The same network that screwed Titus over and shipped GFL to the WB in midseason rather then air the rest of the episodes....but it does sound like a renewal is close to happening. I hope Fox doesn't disappoint me gain.

At least GFL got 3 more years with the WB rather than FOX cancelling it. I rather BTY go to NBC or CBS actually...even ABC!

I wouldn't be surprised to see ABC pick it up, since they now seem interested in sitcoms from other networks. If it were to go to CBS, I could see it faring better, but I don't think it would do much better than what it's doing on FOX right now.

But, let's just hope FOX decides to renew it before we get into all that.

Fox's biggest problem is that it doesn't have many sitcoms. The only other one that's non-animated is Til Death. NBC does have a comedy night as does CBS. ABC 's sitcoms are in bad shape and that's why ATJ keeps getting renewed. The only other sitcom they got is Samantha Who and that show hasn't been doing that great since last November.
