is anyone else getting REALLY bad allergies right now? i have them pretty bad right now...i have a sore throat and im all stuffed up and my mom has bad allergies right now too. there are a lot of kids in school with them too. when we went to get allergy medicine from the drugstore the other day they were all sold out and we had to buy them at the grocery store -_- is it this bad for anyone else?

Yeah, definitely feeling the allergies right about now. Mine aren't that bad, but it isn't pleasant.

I don't have any allergies unless you count stuff like poison ivy or poison oak, I'm not aware of anyone who isn't effected by them

I feel so lucky, allergies are one of the things I've never had to deal with. I don't think I'm allergic to anything that I know of.

you guys are LUCKY. i used to not get allergies until like 3 years ago, then i randomly started getting them. no idea why. -_-

Only all of my life. It's the time of year when pollen is all over the place and it ****s up my nose.

Not me, but my adult stepson has the worst allergies I've ever seen. His eyes get red, puffy, watery, his nose runs like crazy. Me, I've got a strange deal going on. In July of 2000, I woke up in the middle of the night, very itchy, that I actually thought ants invaded my bed, lol.

I went to the doctor, then a dermatolgist who told me that I have chronic uticaria, which is a fancy term for hives. I take an allergy pill every morning, Zyrtec. We have no idea what causes it, or if it's just a natural thing. Every couple of months, I test it and don't take the Zyrtec, and I'm covered with hives by noon.

Wow, that's weird. I never knew something like that could happen, at least there's medication that can make it better.

i take Zyrtec for my allergies too! it works really well, i take it before i go to bed and always feel a lot better in school the next day.

I used to take Allegra and it is CRAP.

Man, I have them bad. Whats worse is it's not only this time of the year, but all year round. I'm allergic to dust, which is a pretty common thing to be around.

Mine are okay right now. My sinuses suck, but then they always do.

As far as Zyrtec, holy crap...that stuff knocked me out for a day and a half. I think it worked, but I couldn't tell for sure because I couldn't stay awake.

I have horrible seasonal allergies. The worst is when my eyes suddenly start to itch, water, and burn - while I'm driving!! Then I have to pull over until it passes.
