Yes. I watched "Brooklyn Bridge" when it was originally aired, and loved it.

That was one of my grandma's favorite shows. Art Garfunkel sang the theme song.

Just over the Brooklyn Bridge...will always be home to me. I can't sing as good as he does.

Neither can I. Seriously - "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "I Only Have Eyes For You", I could go on and on. The man sang like an angel on those songs.

I never really watched it although I do remember the theme song. It should air again somewhere. I know the creator of Family Ties created Brooklyn Bridge as well.

I never watched it that much either, but I too would love to see it again. Grandma was so disappointed that her favorite new shows that year (1991-92) - Brooklyn Bridge, I'll Fly Away, Homefront - were all cancelled.

And all 3 of those shows were critically acclaimed. I remember Homefront..it was a pretty good show. I remember Kyle Chandler was in it and I loved him on Early Edition.

I never saw Homefront and saw a little of I'll Fly Away. I guess all of us L&O fans should be thankful it didn't last, otherwise Sam Waterston wouldn't have been available to play Jack McCoy. Now, I can't imagine L&O without him.

I was also a big L&0 fan although I don't watch it as much as I used to. It's just not the same since Jerry Orbach died. I think he and Waterston held that show together. I still love SVU though.

You're right, the show just isn't the same without Jerry/Lennie. I have watched the earlier seasons of L&O on DVD, and the show didn't hit its stride until Mr. Orbach joined. I also liked Michael Moriarty as the first EADA but now can't picture the show without Sam Waterston (and S. Epatha Merkerson).

I loved Brooklyn Bridge. It was the the same producer/creator as Family Ties. It was a wonderful show, IMO
