Tom Everett Scott is doing a guest stint on veteran NBC crime drama "Law & Order."

In two episodes, he will play Governor Shalvoy.

In one of the episodes, he will be joined by Alison Elliott ("The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford"), who will play his wife, Rita Shalvoy.

Scott most recently had a role on ABC's Cashmere Mafia."

Even though I don't watch this "series" of L&O, I may try and catch these eps. Thanks for the information.

I like him in 1996's, That Thing You Do! as Guy Patterson.
