In the first season on the third episode, Roseanne's kitchen cabinets change from wooden ones to white ones and in episode 4 Language Lessions, the painting that DJ paints for school in Workin Overtime can be seen on the kitchen fridge.

Its really interesting how much TV show sets change especially from the pilot episodes to the 2nd episode. Also I hated how the kitchen looked on Roseanne in season 9 I liked the original style a lot better.

On Step by Step they lost the hall between the front door and the living room from the pilot to the series.

That was to reflect the fact the Conners now had money and the house was redecorated.

In the episode "We're in the Money" you see when Dan is the garage that the door is actually on the left side of the room.
