Naomi Campbell to Guest Star on Ugly Betty

Naomi Campbell is due to follow in Victoria Beckham’s stilettoed footsteps by doing a guest shot on Ugly Betty.

The British supermodel, 37, will portray herself in the second season finale, an ABC rep has confirmed to PEOPLE.

Campbell had also been announced to guest star on last season’s Ugly Betty finale, only the writers’ strike put to bed that idea.

Actress Becki Newton, who plays the show’s receptionist Amanda Sommers, called the model’s upcoming appearance “exciting,” and said, “I’ve personally requested that I don’t stand next to her — because Amanda would not like to be seen with such a tall, pretty person.”

Campbell also has somewhat of a reputation for being tempestuous. Earlier this month she was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an officer after police were called to a disturbance at London’s Heathrow Airport.
