Default How Was The Motion Picture "A Very Brady Sequel"?

I have seen "The Brady Bunch" motion picture with Gary Cole and Shelley Long and I liked it.

I never saw the sequel. Did you like it? Was it better/worse than the 1st movie?

I own both movies and they are both equally good. For the sequel, Shelley Long seems to have altered her voice as Carol somewhat. No Brady Bunch cameos, either.

The only thing that I could have done without was the Marcia/Greg flirtation in the movie. The messed it up for me. The rest of the movie was funny though.

I agree with catlover, I think the first one was better.

But the second one is definitely worth watching too.

I like the homages in the first movie... as well as some great cameos. Barry Williams' cameo as a record producer (with the "new" Greg auditioning with that "Clowns Never Laughed Before" song was hysterical). And Chris Knight's cameo (as a school teacher/cafeteria monitor) was great too.

The Davy Jones scene was great, with all the female teachers crowding around the stage at the prom, while the kids wondered who that guy was.

I think they did a good job picking the cast for the two theatrical releases. They all had their parts down pretty well.

The first one was better, but the second one was good too... I have 'em both, now I feel like watching them again!

The funniest thing in the first one was when Marcial invited Davy Jones to the dance and all the teachers ran over to him screaming like teenagers! That movie was cute. I saw bits and pieces of the second one and it actually looked better to me. I'd like to see the whole thing.

The first movie has several scenes that were cut and some of those scenes were restored for the "aired on TV" version, but never restored to the DVD edition and I'm still pissed that Paramount cheated us fans....and the cameos with Susan Olsen and Mike Lookinland should have been "extras" at least. There needs to be a new extended version DVD with bonus features.

oh so you do respond to me! I thought you had me blocked

I did ask Susan Olsen about the DaybyDay spoof and why her image was removed from the dream Brady episode--it was because Sherwood turn down the producers on asking Susan and Eve! Sherwood did not even allow Susan and Eve the chance to be in the Brady parody. Susan told me that was the one time she was very pissed at Sherwood regarding her chance to be a Brady for pay.

The first one was better with the original cameos. I liked it, though. It had its moments.
