I'm so proud of my son! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Yesterday during dinner I was talking with my son. He is 11 and will be going into the 6th grade next year. Well, anyway, I asked him what he did in school yesterday and he told me that they took AP tests for math, Social Studies and science.

There were only 2 kids from each of the 5th grade classes that got to take the test. Well, I know that he is smart. The kid has gotten straight A's in math since 1st grade. He is in advanced math right now. Goes to the math club on Friday's and attended a math competition and placed 52nd out of 755 students in the area.

But the thing that surprised me was the comment, "Mom, the test was sooooo easy. I was the first one done."

LOL! University of Alabama here comes Chris! LOL!!

haha, that's good. AP tests are hard as hell for me. But I'm not a math person, I'm taking the English one this year.

Sounds more like Harvard University, here comes Chris! You have good reason to be proud. Kids get their school and work ethics from their parents. Congratulations on having a smart and determined son.
