I think these are both very awesome episodes - and I happen to really be big on things like time travel and alternate realities, and both episodes have shown the latter.

Not only that, but I've noticed a few parallels between these episodes:

1. Both episodes feature Ben as the protagonist.
2. Both episodes have Ben wish for something.
3. Both episodes have Ben's wishes come true.
4. Both episodes have Ben forgetting the wishes he made, only to be stunned upon remembering.
5. Both episodes have the guardian stating that he can't give Ben his life back, or else he'd have to give everyone's lives back.
6. Both episodes have Ben realizing that their experiences was a dream.
7. Both episodes end with something that indicates that Ben's experience might not have been "just a dream" - which really shocks Ben.
